New Samples & Design Area
Compusense has introduced a redesigned Samples and Design area that streamlines test setup and provides greater flexibility in managing your samples and experimental designs.
Sample Management
When creating a new test, simply toggle on the new Samples and Design interface. Start by entering your sample sets and total number of samples. Blinding codes are automatically generated but can be manually edited as needed. Sample names can also be updated directly within the interface.
Samples can be imported via Excel file, with options to add to existing samples, update current samples, or replace them entirely. This is a particularly useful feature when cloning previous tests.
Product Library Integration
Link samples directly to products in your Product Library. Select multiple samples at once and link them to a single product for streamlined organization and reporting.
Design Options
The new Edit Design area automatically applies a balanced design, but you can switch to a fixed design (no randomization) if preferred. Advanced options include a new custom design feature that allows you to lock specific samples in set positions while randomizing others. For example, you can lock a sample in the last position or create multiple groups to pair specific samples together while randomizing the rest.
